Habari Zenu Everyone!!
This post is a bit dreary, so I will get straight to the point. We have had to lay off our workers due to a huge change in our financial situation. We have been trying different fundraising efforts. Once things get better, we will first rehire our workers, then make an effort to hire even more. We are not giving up. Our determination is even stronger as the need to feed is even greater. "Greater is He that is in me..." Together, we will beat this!! l cannot do it alone...I need your help...we need your help...they need your help.
Regardless, I am still excited about what is happening...and that is the fact that children, elderly, and families are getting fed. I am looking at the positive side of it all. Back in the day, we used to say, "One monkey won't stop the show" and I refused to allow this financial "monkey" stop this ministry. In the words of Buddy Buie, "Rock bottom is good solid ground and a dead in street is just a place to turn around." We will NOT let our struggles be our identity!! Whooo-hooo!! I just inspired myself. LOL!!
Have a WONDERFULLY BLESSED DAY!!!
